More than half the people in this country elected Donald Trump as President again. They are thrilled people will be deported and that anti-vaxxers are in charge of health policy. They think Donald Trump will fix an economy that they see as broken even as it is already the envy of the world. They are thrilled that God will be back in government by the hand of the most immoral men in history.
They are people that will never be my friends because they have completely twisted values. All they get is my indifference towards their lives.
Well, there’s one thing they can get, though. Money. Yes. Money. For their services: whenever they fix my car, fix my plumbing, open me a mortgage account, serve me drinks and food, or whatever else it is that they’re skilled at. I will also be happy to take their money when I render services. That’s as far as I’m taking my relationship with Trumpist Americans: a transactional relationship, the kind their Dear Leader loves and I assume they expect.
